Around the St. Salvator Chapel, popularly known as the "Chapel of Nijhoven", there is a prayer garden as an oasis of peace and greenery among old trees. The restored groups of statues of the Stations of the Cross depicting the Passion of Jesus, the Seven Sorrows and the Five Secrets, evoke in many people nostalgic memories of bygone days. There is also a cave, as in Lourdes, where a candle can be lit.

In the period from May to September there is a service on Wednesday at 7 pm.
